David has written extensively about the media industry, with a particular focus on music and metadata. In his capacity as Head of Knowledge Management at Decibel Music Systems Ltd, he produced work for papers including Music 4.5 and MusicAlly (below).

He’s also interviewed high profile personnel in the media, including sitting down with Ben Rayner, Executive Producer of Al Jazeera English and discussing the detained journalists in Egypt. Other interviewees include Business Life and High Life, the New Statesman and The Times Literary Supplement.
